Hi, I’m Sam Williams — licensed architect, dad of three, problem-solver, and the founder of Craft Architecture. I started this firm in 2020 after a decade of working on large-scale commercial and industrial buildings. It was great experience, but I missed the direct connection to the people using the spaces I designed.
Creating Craft Architecture was a natural step. My dad owns a residential construction company and raised me with a deep respect for craftsmanship, even while nudging me toward an “indoor job.” Architecture became my version of building — and I haven’t looked back.
Today, Craft is still just me but I get essential support from my wife, Jen. She’s also a licensed architect and interior designer who brings a sharp eye and steady advice, even while working full-time on large-scale athletic and recreation facilities.
We live and work in Franklin, MA, and are raising three loud, energetic, amazing kids — which means I understand firsthand the value of a well-designed, functional home.
